Game is the same night as UFC 168, oh well, just want to see the two title fights. So we're good.

Thank you.

I tried to change the outcome of some of the games but it wasn't permitted.
Was it a 3-2 loss in 07 with a beauty by Danny B ? I was at that game I think and they had won in Calgary previous but lost vs Oilers.

It was a 5-3 loss and Mr. Pitkanen, for the Oilers, scored the winner early in the third.

Of course.

We'll see what Mr. Ilya Bryzgalov will show us in the upcoming game.

Looks like Bryz will be the goalie.

I hope they put up 6

this game will go one of two ways: Bryz plays Vezina-like and shuts us out, or we light up Bryz

It appears Downie will be decided tomorrow which isn't too surprising considering the original time frame.

Adam Hall did not skate today due to the flu.

Update per Tim P.:

Quote:
Downie likely to play; VanderVelde goes on trip, too. Hall was ill and not feeling well over break. Questionable

If this team doesn't score at least 4 on this clown, they don't deserve to win another game all year.

I would like to just see them win tomorrow...I couldn't care less about the Bryz story line. The media and fans are going to make a circus out of the game, but I hope the players are just focused on winning and not on their personal feelings toward Bryz. The last thing they need is a distraction that gets them off their game and costs them valuable points.

They need the two points...doesnt matter if its 1-0 or 9-8...just get the win.

If this team lost to the Edmonton Oilers and Bryzgalov at the same time...God help us.

Just shoot from the top of the left circle, he's incapable of stopping a slug charging at full speed from that area.

It can't be too hard to score on one of these.

Bryzgalov can be an extremely good goalie when he is interested. The question is - does this game provide him more motivation or is he just approaching it like any other game. He is playing behind a very bad defense and a bunch of offensive-minded young forwards who think defense is optional.

I just drove for 16 hours South to Edmonton in a blinding snow storm most of the way to see this game tomorrow. The Flyers better win.
