Felger does his show prep from listening to EEI in the morning as he drives his kids around. Does this mean F&M will have Eddie Andelman on from 2-4

Doesn't Eddie live/work outside of Boston proper?

Felger is unaware if anything sports related that happens outside the 617.

Anyone catch The Instigators last night. Haggs was the 3rd man in and a couple of times I thought Milbury was going to beat him with his shoe. He openly complained about him during and after the segment.

I just looked for video of this on NESN. Does anyone have a link?

He wasn't that bad. In fact they were having good subject matters.

You mean "Crosscheck"? Felger's first 10 minutes were unbearable. Completely full of crap. I was really looking forward to it, then he pissed all over it. Uncharacteristically, Millbury came off as downright reasonable, though it was clear that Haggs wasn't the favorite guy in the room.

Last I heard he was looking to move into a Boston luxury condo.

Can't wait to hear Felger complain about Brady's playoff performance because of his stat line.

if you watch pats postgame on csnne felger reveals his talking points for the week. in 2 minutes of watching he's concerned brady won't have anyone to throw to because he only has one outside receiver and this type of game won't work against denver.

Who decided to recycle "TV Diner" on NESN? I can see it now: dining out wth the Yeti. Right up there with "Dirty Water TV".

NECN (New England Cable News) didn't want to put money into it, but the show has an audience and that's why they found a new home. Odd that it's NESN, though.

Still better than Phantom Gourmet....

I like Dirty Water TV- one of the singular great moments in TV history let alone Dirty Water was the Halloween episode when LB was dressed as a giraffe and was hammered between the two hosts trying to talk but in slow motion- incredible good stuff (that girl host btw apparently besides being gorgeous was a star hockey player- talk about friend clams and onion rings, what a combo)

I've never met Costas but have friends that know him and cant stand him- pretty good judge of characters these folks, although Jenny like Paul Molitor and Johnny Bucyk second half of career gets better with age

If I was the defensive coordinator I would show the Patriots standard formation in my first meeting game week and draw a half circle around our defensive side of the ball and tell my team we are going to take this area away. If Brady can hit the outside the markers throw or deep ball great but doubt it- I'd shadow Blount on every first down and try to put them in second and long, and then double Edelman.

Its really easy- the Patriots without Gronk, a deep threat/outside the numbers guy can be easily defended BUT you have to execute it. To me the guy who needs to come up big next week is Vereen. He needs to have that monster game especially catching the ball like he had early on and replicated one other time- problem is he is likely not healthy.

Agreed, at least "TV Diner" would visit places like Newport, Providence, Nantucket, etc., and introduce you to a particular local scene(I'm not a frequent restaurant goer myself) whereas the Phantom boys stand in the studio and review brands of orange soda.

Someone needs to bring back the half-hour of the Three Stooges that used to come on before the Phantom Gourmet.

Did they have "Creature Double Feature" on Saturday afternoon, or was that CH56?

It was 56. My childhood would have been incomplete without CDF.

it was on 56 right after the WWWF. (things started going downhill for grappling fans after they got rid of that 3rd W).

Although tv38 did have a Friday night Fright night that was like an early version of mystery science theater. That's where I first saw Lenny Clarke. After he left it was that big mattress guy who was terrible in that role. He just didn't "get" it.
