Teddy Ruth (D- Milwaukee) retires

Nashville D-man prospect Theo "Teddy' Ruth has decided to retire from hockey. He had played some games for Milwaukee, but spent most of his time with Cincinnati.

Haven't been able to follow prospects very closely, was he a big deal? Did he factor in the plans any?

reading the article he's not even Preds property. Was drafted by the caps, traded to the jackets, then signed with the Ads on his own not as a Pred

He retired because he couldn't even stick in the AHL to get noticed by the NHL which should tell you all you need to know.

Yeah... pretty misleading headline. Teddy Ruth has been kicked to the curb by a couple of organ-eye-zations already, as mentioned before. I guess he just figured it was time to get on with his life.

So long, Babe... we hardly knew ye.
