Just as 29 other GM's around the NHL were preparing for Aki's possible addition to the UFA list, JFJ gives Aki want Aki wanted: Aki's qualifying offer.

I like the direction JFj is taking this.

The amounts of the qualifying offers may end up looking very different from agreed to deals.

Maybe Belak takes a 2 year 1.5 contract, taking a little less per year, for more security. The others could follow suit.

Gary, Joe, Domi are hardly the only players that are going to be on the market.

Why do we need Belak AND Perrott?? It's not like Belak can play defence(or forward, for that matter).

Maybe we'll see a new and accent improved Belak after all the playing time he got this year.

Maybe not.

Aki's gonna prove the doubters wrong this year, and throw the Leafs on Aki's back and take them to the promised land.

Aki now wants JFJ to sign Adam Foote and give Aki a worthy defense partner.
I give you credit for being a staunch aki berg supporter.

I'm going to put my neck out on the line and say it...

Good.

He does take far too much crap from us fans, he's a good 6th man.

You can tell the faithful don't even like their guys when posters with handles named after players are upset when they're only given qualifying offers.

Wouldn't be surprised if James Patrick and Glen Wesley are on the way.

Aki wants to thank all of Aki's loyal supporters out there in Leaf land.

Aki knows there are alot of Aki haters out there too ( most of whom Aki owns ), and all their negativity just makes Aki stronger.

At the same time, the 'Aki Alliance' seems to be growing everyday.

Aki won't let you guys down this year. While most players haven't done anything the last year, Aki's game has been improving.

Klee, McCabe didn't do anything last year.

Aki took Finland on his back to the world cup finals against Canada.

Aki then tore through the SEL for Timra.

Now Aki's ready to take the Leafs to the promised land. Leaf fans, hop on the Aki-train, and enjoy the ride.

Nice to know I'm not the only one... though IMHO Berg is a good #5 D-Man.
I have some vague hope he'll sign for less then his qualifying offer, however unlikely that is.
