Gonna watch Lost in Translation tonight. Been watching ridiculously copious amounts of Anime lately so I might as well tone it down with an actual movie about Japan.

Also Scarlett Johansson <3

Also, seems like a good time to bring up the fact that I am even more disappointed that nobody responded to this.

Who would have thought there'd be so little overlap between hockey fans, photoshop experts and afficionados of 1980s childrens anime classics.

Rocksmith update. I can really see improvement. I can almost play every note in Blitzkrieg Bop. I have seen a flaw in this system though. Yes I can play almost every note....in the game. Ask me to sit down and play it on my own and bets are I couldnt make it past the first verse. I cant tell if it's teaching me how to play or how to play the game.

Muscle memory, try repeating the verses over and over again and then assembling them together in order.

Good point. I am only a few days in so I'm interested to see how it progresses.

Totoro and Spirited Away are two of my favourite movies all time and I have no shame in that.

Stig, you've inspired me to dig my guitar out of the closet, and to my great despair, I've forgotten about 80% of the 4 or so dozen songs I learned during the lockout

Guess I'll need to skim through those youtube guides/tabs and get a refresher

Nobody should be questioning anything.

Princess Mononoke and Nausicaa are two of the best animated films ever.

I honestly cannot stand most animated series. It might be due to their followings though.

I'm too white/different kind of nerdy for anime.

(I know lots of white people watch anime, but I'm your stereotypical white dude)
