Time expired to the first LA goal: less than 3 minutes in
Will we score: No
If we do, who will it be:
Will the team get booed off the ice: more than likely
Who will have obligatory dance, Hendricks, Nystrom or someone new: Nystrom
Will any jerseys be thrown on the ice ala Edmonton: Don't think we're a mature enough hockey crowd to pull that off yet
How many hacks, slashes and face washes will Horny receive: comes with the job
Final score: 5-0 Kings
Will there be a "Fire Poile or Fire Trotz" chant tonight? : Hoping for it, not expecting, see Edmonton jersey throwing comment

Since neither goalie is performing well when starting, start with an empty net ..... then put one in after the first stoppage. Worst case, the Kings score early just like every team has lately with a tender in place.

A clean hit leading to a fight ... no reason for Clifford to instigate there.

We scored the 1st goal. Horns put away the rebound after the Fisher shot. Looks like Wilson back with Fisher and Horns tonight.

We are up 1-0 after 1. Maz has played really well so far.

A period with solid play from our bigger name players. Weber battled along the boards and matched up well against Kopitar ... a Fisher sighting at even strength ... Stalberg with a couple half way decent looks ... fewer defensive lapses than we've seen of late.

Not a great period, but solid and an all important first goal in our favor.

Was just glad to see the end of the first. Looked like LA was trying to pick up a little momentum. Hopefully the Preds will hold that down in the next couple frames.

Team looks much more composed with Maz behind them.
Needs to start the bulk of the games until Rinne is back.
No jinx intended.

Meh, a beautiful PP tally against. It happens.

Got to score here though.

It's a one period thing right now. Maz's last appearance was 3 goals on 5 shots and less than six minutes of play before a goalie switch. He just got cleanly beat high glove by Kopitar. Both of our goalies are inconsistent right now ... either NHL star of the week or getting pulled with virtually no middle ground. Neither has shown the ability to take the reins for more than about a three game stretch before crumbling.

At least they got a couple shots off.
5 on 4 for the remainder.

Shot attempts that weren't on goal. The story of our year .... blast ... miss ... regroup ... do it all over.

Weber missed the net a couple of times. Had the opportunity but couldn't convert on the PP.
