Eller finished 83% on the dot. He needs to kidnap chucky this summer and make him get gooder.

A win is a win. Carey Price keeps solidifying his spot as the #1 goalie for Team Canada.

Now who's gonna watch the Anderson Silva fight? Should we start a thread?

Totally agree with you.

Probably because Bourque wasnt on the ice.

I am on my anti-Bourque kick tonight, especially after hearing that Bournival was press boxed while the Black Hole was in the game.

But to be honest, it's not hard to find Bourque when he is on the ice. Look for the puck first and then look where the puck is not. That is where you will find Bourque. He is the anti-puck.

Great win tonight. Two points is two points.

Agreed.

Smaller goalie pads, blockers and catching gloves as well.

or maybe calling the actual rules that already exist? The only thing broken in hockey is the application of the rulebook.

Found him to be pretty below average tonight tbh. Had a great first and then cooled off. Couldn't get anything going. That being said, I think he was mostly playing with our third pairing and against the MSL line. Still, though, would like to see more.

Bourque was one of the best forwards on the ice tonight...

Might want to watch the game. Bourque looked really good tonight. Used his size and speed, threw hits, created chances and had that one chance where he blew by everyone, split the D and rang it off the right post.

I watched the entire game.

Big boy Bourque had zero hits. Hell, even Briere had a hit tonight.

He had one breakaway that hit the post. Other than that, Bourque did his best job at sucking the life out of Pleks' line.

Remember that Pleks scored with Bourque on the bench and he had Moen and Gionta as his wingers. Moen made a great first pass to get the rush going.

Bourque is forever behind the play chasing the puck. Pleks fired a perfect pass to Bourque in the slot and he could not even get his stick on it.

I dont understand the admiration for Bourque by some here. And its laughable to say he was our best forward tonight as someone posted earlier.

Who do you think is better for Pleks? Bournival or Bourque?

Early in the season I'd say Bournival, but he's been struggling of late so I'd go with Bourque. Especially when he plays like he did tonight. I wouldn't go as far as our best forward tonight. But to come out and lash out at him tonight of all nights is a bit odd.

This isn't a one season pop either. He's being getting better season after season almost linear. I wish 24CH people can ask what he does in the summer for faceoffs. I'm really curious.

Bourque did absolutely nothing.

When he got the puck, he turned it over. Pleks line had little to no possession tonight, especially on the PP.

For a team that lacks offense, I cringe when I see Bourque hamstringing Pleks.

Bourque is an average 4th liner with what he brings to the Habs. Anything above that is a waste. Just ask Eller.

Good luck with that. Still think he had a solid game tonight.

Bourque goes hot and cold. I bet MB is looking for a hot streak to move him like he did with Cole last year.

You must be looking at the wrong summary, he only had 24 shots and stopped 23.

Boring game until the 3rd and OT.

Let's win tomorrow for the Florida sweep.
Price was solid in the 3rd, none of the saves were great...just too much playing on their heels by the guys in front. Need some forwards to step up and start generating chances and momentum 5 on 5. The 5 on 5 play has regressed from last year and early season play.

I just got back from the game which I took my stepfather to for a birthday present as he is a Habs fan. You guys were loud and there were more Ontario and Quebec license plates than Florida. I dont think anyone was speaking English in my section (326).
