Boy, I hope this isn't Florida's big signing this year. The season ticket salespeople were toting Naslund, Bertuzzi and Pronger as the guys the Panthers were going to go after the hardest. I felt like I was at a used car lot.

How would one go about having 'terrific interest?'

It's a drinking water fountain in naval terms.... which has been extended to "talk around the watercooler".

Were people confused about the different types of water fountains? Why'd they feel it was necessary to give it such a ridiculous name?

Thank god it's a holiday.

That's what I want to know.

And if so, why are these people not fired yet for such a misunderstanding of the English language?

solid pickup for fla for a younger team, i think he could do wonders for horton and stewart, teaching them a few things on scoring and using there gritty bodies to move ppl around... id like it for a FLA standpoint

If Gary really wants to win and wants one last chance at a cup, does he really want to sign in FLA?

I still think Gary comes back to the Leafs along with Nieuwendyk

How much should Roberts get in salary. How about Joe N?

Apparently the Leafs are offering both of them about 1.5 million each. Imo with all the UFA's out there I dont see Joe or Gary getting much more than that. Somewhere between 1.5-2 million seems logical. Both are 40 years old and are coming off a complete season away from hockey. As good as shape as they are in, they can't outrun Father Time.
