The Funny Thing Is...

Tomorrow this team will probably come out with some kind of feel-good win in Toronto and it'll be more false hope and rainbows. Really disgusting how Jekyll and Hyde this team is.

We deserve better than this team.

NOTHING redeeming about this game. The Rangers did not show up.

How does that Original Six tradition taste?

****.

McD and Zucc, only players worth a damn on this team right now. Kreider occasionally.

Until a trade is made and management is replaced by competent hockey minds, there is really nothing to discuss.

I can't wait to watch Hank with a competent team in front of him in the Olympics. I feel for the guy.

Want to thank Zucc, Kreider, and McD for their efforts tonight.

Another lifeless game where they can't defend or push back and struggle to score goals. Welcome to Rangerstown.

I'd talk about Hank or Nash, Stepan or Richards, but really the whole team's performance is at fault. Pittsburgh looked like a team with the winning mentality, Rangers with the losers mentality, poor effort, stick checking.

Zuccarello is the best forward right now. I thought he might break out but that he'd be our best right now, as great as it is for him says a lot about our established players.

people trying to pain the best player in the world as some puss weakling is ridiculous. sid curb stomped every single one of our guys tonight and would probably tougher than anyone on this team.
Exactly!

He is tougher than this whole roster combined! What players stood up for themselves like that this year. Do you recall any? Crosby has balls to do that, something you can't say for most (any) on this team.

We just aren't a good team this year. The entire team isn't good from the goal out. Some players are more to blame than others.

Many changes need to be made on both sides of the bench, coaching & player personnel.

1. They get abysmal extensions

2. They walk and we get nothing

Take your pick

I'm convinced of 3 things

anyone who puts on a penguins jersey becomes a good-great nhl player.

Anyone, doesn't matter who, on the devils 4th line ***** the rangers.

Put Crosby Ovechkin and Stamkos on the ice in rangers jerseys and they wouldn't be able to score.

Even if the team sucks Hank is paid to bail them out on some goals. He was out of position on 2-3 goals today and without those goals against the team could've gotten points.
