Actually perhaps 3 years ago. I remember the snow was so high I couldn't see my neighbour if we both walked out.

I also remember most of the snow that year came after Christmas. Yikes.

Noooooooo, that means another freeze/thaw cycle winter for brutal roads and salt eating away at car because every road will be icy once it freezes...

I rather it stayed -5 or something until march when there wont be anymore snow and freezing.

totally agree with you. I'd be happy if it was minus 7-12 all winter long.
Hate the melt and freeze.

I have to agree with you; just stay constant between -5 to -10 will be all right until March!

Yeah, driving around in the dark yesterday and I barely see because the headlights I now have to wash and clear before every trip take about 5mins in these conditions to become basically black with dirt, sand. Somebody needs to invent headlight window washers. Hell my window can be as clean as possible. If the headlights aren't working you're not seeing much with absolute dark and cloud cover.

Plus if you're a homeowner potentially flooding, sidewalks, driveways a freezing slushy mess and basically impossible to keep in reasonable condition. This is going to be one huge mess by the end of the week. The freeze/thaw cycles are just annoying. I imagine its fun and nice for someone without a car, without a house.

There is no such thing as global warming. If you do your research and observe the sky you can see that the government and private corporations are engaged in a massive geo-engineering program to manipulate and own the weather by 2025. Pay attention to world issues and you will start to understand that the world isn't run by saints that care about us.

The irony this year is that the best shoveled sidewalks that scrape right down to pavement have been the absolute worse. In continual freeze/melt conditions its better sometimes to leave packed snow on top instead of shoveling right to sidewalk.

We're going to be getting some light rain again I heard over next 24 hrs. With freezing over night. Not a good time for bare sidewalks.

Won't be Edmonton either, sorry to say. As per usual an outlandish forcast proves to be an outlandish forecast. 12 degrees would have been off the charts for this area in January and very rarely seen afairc.

5 degrees (very nice here for this time of year) is now the revised as high as it gets and thats it.

Not sure who was smoking what when they come up with 12 degrees high.
