Watching Habs VS USSR 1975

Wow, what a great game. This is the team I grew up idolizing. Listening to Danny Gallivan was always a treat!

I was there. My uncle took me, with the understanding that I would babysit his kids afterwards for New Years Eve.

Hard to remember the details, but I remember a mounting frustration during the game as Tretiak stopped one great shot after another after another. I had no idea I was witnessing a classic for the ages (I was only 13), but it was a very, very fast game and intense as hell.

Great game too one for the ages 2 things that I find out of ordinary was Dryden let in 3 goals on 13 shots for whatever reason he did not play great against Russians. The other was Guy Lafleur he played a good game but looked very nervous passing puck too much.Bob Gainey was physical but he handled puck like a gernaid.Roadrunner showed his great speed and atmospher in forum was immense
