Book it. Ryan will dominate this game just to prove Team USA wrong. Can't wait!

Ottawa makes back-ups look amazing. Let's not underrate Montoya around here. He has been WAY better than Pavelec, who has easily been the worst starting goaltender in the NHL this year. And that contract...yuck.

I'm from Winnipeg originally so I still follow the Jets. This is going to be a tough game. The Jets have a hard forecheck and we struggle against that.

I think Gryba is finished with Ottawa, thats why he's sitting. Being that this is his 4th year of pro hockey and will have less than 80games in the NHL, will he not become a UFA at the end of the year UNLESS he plays 30 more games to have the 80 game requirement to remain an RFA? They should trade him for any pick if this is the case. Now I don't profess to be a NHLPA lawyer/agent but from what I have read this is the case.

Hoping for a dominante Ryan game! Prove those ****ers wrong!!!

Either way, I want a W. Lets start 2014 off right please!

(That said, this season for whatever reason, I always expect a loss.... I'm a debbie downer).

The upswing of Zibby and Conacher coupled with the empty netter that Karlsson gifted to Mac bodes very very well. Doesn't hurt that Anderson is starting to find his game.

Actually think a lot are good for the Sens. Beating the Pens and Bruins in one week, along with another win against the Caps. Ryan getting trashed should put a fire in his belly, and then MacA hopefully getting back to some scoring.

But this team has been so inconsistent, I just don't know. One good week has typically meant one bad week.

Ryan takes over this game and makes the US staff look like fools.

Oh and we put an end to the random hot streak of Al Montoya which is refreshing since Pavelec always kills us at CTC.

Sens got this one even though the Jets are rolling right now too.

How can people hate on condra, he turned what was one of the worst lines in hockey (greening smith neil) into an actual decent one. When hes on the ice Ottawa does not suffer.

wiercioch can not catch a break. he came in against boston scored, played really well against capitals, stepped up his physical play I thought. They want him to play on the left side, that's not something you learn by watching from the pressbox...

Exactly.....Whatever happened to not changing a winning lineup. Wiercioch comes in scores a goal and has a plus rating and yet finds himself in the press box again. I guess Maclean would rather develop Corvo instead.

I don't even think that the 4th line saw the ice in the 3rd period so, I would hardly call that double shifting.

JETS STH here.

BIG mistake leaving Ryan off the Olympic Team. Burke's comments to Ryan..... just plain sad... pretty sure players who score 30 goals on a regular basis should never be labeled for lack of intensity.

Just wish the U.S. team would have been announced AFTER we played you guys. Facing Bobby Ryan is tough enough when he's not p****d off.

FWIW : Trouba is the real deal. Future Norris finalist for sure.
