This is beyond random but I hope the Flyers draft Sonny Milano just for the "It's Always Sonny in Philidelphia" puns.

Kind of disappointed we couldn't land Hartnell. I'd love to have him back.

I don't think we had an asset like Umberger to give up. Agreed though, we could've used a guy like that. Gonna be weird seeming him in a CBJ sweater, but he is gonna look damn good on CBJ first line.

His quite possibly my least favorite Predator of all time. I am anything but disappointed.

just curious as to what caused that opinion?

something personal? Because there have certainly been many worse players

That's actually considerably less than folks expected him to insist on.

How bout the Kings committing 7 years to Mr. Glass? Sure, the cap hit isn't bad, but I don't see any way he holds up over that term.

His propensity to just get angry and do something stupid. Like the turnover and throwing his stick at the puck. I flew with the team once and on the trip he took a really dumb fighting penalty the could have cost the team dearly, because in his words "he just wanted to go". I felt he had $50 talent and a $.02 head. I am not saying it was all rational on my part (or that he is a turd ).

So Bob McKenzie is reporting that Kane & Toews are looking for 12 million each per season ... probably going to get around 10 per (if I were a betting man) ... there depth might take a hit sooner rather than later.

And the rest of the West is hoping they do get closer to 12 each

Sucks for Matt, I guess he's AHL bound now.

Hate to hear that, was always a guy I rooted for. Always felt like he was one of those that just got nailed by bad timing with injuries. It always felt like just about the time he would get to rolling good something would happen.

Although few details were immediately available, a source said Giroux was arrested for repeatedly grabbing the buttocks of a male police officer.

Giroux, 26, is known for his crack offense, always finding a hole, and firm defense, always applying backside pressure. Hes beloved by Flyers fans for his cheeky disposition and for always giving their opponents a handful

I read "crack offense" as an illegal offense involving crack cocaine at first

It's funnier read properly.

Hawks have inked Toews and Kane looking at capgeek really do not know what there options are now 2.2 over the cap most of the high salary guys on NMC's. I guess they move Shaw and one of Smith, Kruger or Leddy.

They were already 2.2 over the cap. These new deals start in 2015

Yes the new contracts do, point proven. That does not change the fact they are over the cap with few options now.

Add in an aging Hossa, and that total cap hit is over $26 mil for the 3 players.
