The chances of Gionta and/or Bourque producing on the PP are so low, why not give Eller and Chuckie a chance? There's no way they could be any worse.

I already know how this game is going to go down. MTL is going to score in the 2nd period and go into the 3rd up 2-1 only to lose 4-2 after trying to sit on a one goal lead.

He was awesome last year. I saw signs of pre-injury Bourque there. Felt he was our best, outside Pleks.

Why don't you GTFO and ***** about someone who is actually pathetic rather than a valuable penalty killer for this team and someone who is willing to back check instead of having a "controller disconnected" moment.

I still don't understand how our most skilled player is not on the power play. Any way you look at it, it just doesn't make sense.

I've noticed, aside from Desharnais, we've been seeing eye to eye a freakish amount lately.

I feel bad for Bourque. He plays good sometimes but he's Mr. Goalpost.

the 2nd PP unit consist of:

DIAZ 0 Goals this season
BOUILLON 0 goals this season ... 1 PP point in the last 80 games
GIONTA 1 goal in the last 26 games
BOURQUE 0 goal on the road this season
& PLEKANEC only one who should be on it!

How do you expect them to score on the PP???

no Galchenyuk and Eller makes no sense.. mind has well put Murray in front of Lehtonen's net!

Maybe he feels Gionta's small frame is better for retrieving pucks on the dump and chase.

I don't think I've even posted about desharnais in quite some time. ANd for the record, I'm not so much anti-DD as I am anti-therriens-usage-of-DD.

Cuz Therrien throws the baby out of the bathwater when doesn't want to be Edmonton-like in giving out minutes to the young guns. Rather than a balanced approach and some time on the waves, he gives NOTHING and feeds that midget who wears #51 all of the goods instead as if #51 is still on his 900,000 dollar contract and a "worthy prospect" instead of a vet who sucks balls and has reached his ceiling...
