Do you think Canada should own these islands?

Bermuda's closest landmass is North Carolina, so I don't see why Canada would fairly randomly 'get' them. If Bermuda is to change hands it would come via a referendum on independence. That went to a vote in 1995, with less than 26% of voters voting for independence and has seen fairly little support since then.
Harper should negotiate for them.

I have no idea about Bermuda, but considering how little of the ocean that St Pierre can make use of it's irreverent. As of now there are only bids for exploration in the area around the French exclusive zone.

My first thought.

Nice try, but you're not making us give up our arctic claims that easily.

We already have Baffin Island and PEI.

Someone else can take Newfoundland, though...Please?

There's also Vancouver Island, but they're weird out there (and not in the delightfully goofy Newfoundland way, in the 'why are there so many over 65 meth dealing hippies at this White Spot' kind of weird).

Which country is the most successful military power in European history?

France. According to the historian Niall Ferguson, of the 125 major European wars fought since 1495, the French have participated in 50 – more than Austria (47) and England (43). Out of 168 battles fought since 387BC, they have won 109, lost 49 and drawn 10.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/the-f...curiosity.html

A 109-49-10 record isn't bad.

That is the record in battles. What is the record in wars?
