Lately the 3rd and 4th lines have both been getting same time and similar talent. There's no difference between 3 and 4 here.

#CBJ likely lines tonight: Foligno - Johansen - Umberger; Dubinsky - Anisimov - Horton; Comeau - Letestu - Tropp; Craig - Jenner - Atkinson.

not gonna lie, would like to see Comeau-Jenner-Atkinson...

It does seem that Calvert and Atkinson feed off of each other.

Foligno Johansen Umberger

Dubinsky Anisimov Horton

Comeau Letestu Tropp

Craig Jenner Atkinson

I would still like to see Atkinson with Joey and Mike (ask Rimer). Richards likes Umberger with those two for the size, not skill. Not an Umby hater, just by now with a pretty good forward pool, I think there are better options. The 3rd and 4th lines better be ready to bang tonight, another reason Cam doesn't fit there, especially against the blews.

If the 4th line scores, we win.

Today is my birthday, and I hope the Jackets win tonight. That would be a cool present.

I was liking the chemistry Arty and Comeau had, and Jenner and Tropp connected on some good plays lately. It would be kind of nice to let those guys stay together. Also I really really can't wait until we do 71-19-8.

Just with the guys currently in the lineup I'd try

Foligno-Johansen-Horton
Comeau-Anisimov-Atkinson (was this line together down the stretch last year?)
Letestu-Dubinsky-Umberger (this is leftovers, I'll admit)
Craig-Jenner-Tropp

Not without a goalie stealing the game.

Sorry, I just feel like we've discussed the chemistry between Cam and Cal many times. It's not a new observation to say they work together.

Then I should have posted better. Feels like we notice their obvious chemistry when they're out there together, but haven't brought it up when Cam hasn't played well in Matty's absence. I'm wondering why Cam struggles to get it going in other configurations.

To be fair, Calvert brings an element of speed and skill that for some reason is hard for the team to replace on the wing. Skille is the second closest, I think.

Has to be a record. The early 90s Houston-Buffalo game compares.

They flashed it earlier, I think Buff was down 32 in that one.

I think Cam plays well with Calvert because Calvert goes out there every shift and gives it all and does battle with guys way bigger than him. And the intensity is contagious. When Cam plays with that intensity he's really effective, if not, well not so much.
