I'm a Canadian so I don't care who wins, but I'm also off that weekend (Sat-Sun) so I'm really pumped to be able to watch that USA/Russia game on Saturday and then the Can-Fin game on Sunday! The issue is I work 7 days in a row starting from the 17th to the 23rd and I work over-nights so I'm missing pretty much the whole tournament except for a few games which I've mentioned.

I won't even bother watching the Canada-Norway or Canada-Austria game because it'll be over by the first period.

Maybe good news:

german ARD & ZDF (both 720p/HD and Free to Air channels on 19.2E) will also broadcast the hockey games.

https://presseportal.zdf.de/fileadmi...otchi-2014.pdf

as i remember, they alsways interrupt the broadcastings with other sports (they dont show live and in full strength). so we need to wait what they will really show.

i will update this news if you guys want.

EDIT: ARD.de und ZDF.de will also offer hd live streams, where they will show all 64 matches without interrupts.

Looks like someone from HC/COC had input on the schedule. The timing is as good as it can get for us.

Sorry for the question, 13.30 means CET time, greenwich time or moscow time?

will the viasat os channels 1-7 also be available in hd?

now they are only running in SD over sirius 4,8E

EDIT: the channels are called HD1-HD7 instead of VIASAT OS HD1-7 on 11385 H

Other than a press release from CBC I can't find any info on specific games that CBC/TSN are carrying. I know that CBC is airing all the Canada games, but I want to watch other games too specifically the Russia/U.S game. NVM CBC is also airing the Russia/U.S game. Still my point stands, with 10 days to go until the Olympics you'd think one of the broadcasters would show the tv listings. So far all I know is CBC is showing the Canada games and the Russia/U.S game..

I'll be in Europe this entire tournament.

So I'm going to have to find some places to watch it in the following cities:

-Munich
-Barcelona
-Dublin
-London

In Finland YLE updated their 4 channels on most cable households to HD(only the main two channels are available in antenna households) on Tuesday. Hockey games are broadcast on YLE TV2 and YLE FEM and their HD versions.

I agree with the guy who's worried CBC/TSN might ignore the non-Canada hockey games. I'm very worried and pissed.
