Lol, on real note, he has been playing pretty well lately, probably for extension but hope he makes some damage in Olympics to raise his confidence for second half.

They'll regret leaving Jiri Dopita off the roster. But for real, this could be bigger head scratchers than Team USA selections.

Wow I thought Nedved retired from hockey like 10 years ago.

I had no idea Nedved was still playing. He is the same age as Jagr.

That's a team capable of upsetting one of the big 4 right there. One game elimination games, anything can happen.

We should also count Michael Barinka as a Sens asset. His profile on TSN says we suspended him in 2006

Good for Milan he is still a very reliable two way player who hopefully is over his injury problems.

Michalek has looked pretty solid recently... it looks like he is headed in the right direction.. and in another month he should be that much further along.

2006 Sens trade Havlat for Barinka.
2014 Barinka is at Olympics and Havlat is not. Who is laughing now?

I know consider that trade a win.
The fond memories I have of Josh Hennessy are just gravy.

I'm glad Milo made it.

I wonder if the Czechs will have the most players that are 40 and over.

They have about two lines that create offence and 4 Ds that are decent, and in this type of tournament, they can upset some teams. Don't forget they have types like Krejci, Jagr, Voracek and Plekanec, these guys when they are on their game, can really play and hurt you. Despite the seemingly thin roster, I would not write them off just yet.

Way to go Milan. Lots of ? decisions on the Czech team but including Milan was not 1 of them.

Agreed. I'm happy for him but part of me wishes he would have been left off and could continue to recover. He's still clearly not at 100 %.
