Yeah, I was very impressed with that play he made along the boards entering the zone, at the end of his shift too.

I know the Kings are not very good in the regular season but they are really bad this year.

yup. detroit and tampa also won. was nice to see the kings lose again. That western conference race for the bottom 7/8th spots will be interesting if kings keep playing like this.

I'd love for florida to knock boston out of 8th and take the final PO spot.

I'd also love if ovechkin would stop scoring but i guess can't have nice things.

if they fail to make the playoffs they will be the first Stanley Cup defending champs to not make the playoffs since the Devils failed in 96 after they won in 95

Carolina in 07.

Although most people probably forgot Carolina actually won the Cup in 06

We missed the playoffs in 93 and won a Cup in 94 . Should have won in 93 but Leetch injury killed us .

totally forgot about that...you're right, that's how relevant the canes were to the hockey world.

Not really. Rangers weren't very good at all that entire season.

Maybe not only the Leetch injury, but IIRC, Beukeboom was the only D to play more than 60 games that year. Injuries and Neilson losing Messier were the biggest factors that season.

Yup, season ending surgery.

I think the Jets just keep Kane at this point,

Boarding my flight to Nashville. It's a smaller plane, but I'm pretty sure that 25% of the passengers are rangers fans going to the game.

Holy crap every time I see that video I have some bad flashbacks. I had a guy sucker me one night at a dance and he hit me about 5 times . He never broke anything...unless it was his hand LOL. I remember waking up the next morning and my whole face was black and blue....and very sore . Lesson learned....I was never suckered again....just watching that punch connect on Martin is painful.... Tough Tough Tough...and he came back and played !
