Are we sure that Pat Quinn wasn't in charge of this decision?

It's still weird that we're taking so many penalties, consider we're in their end for 90% of the period.

That's going to be an issue going down the road.

That hockey arena is so amazing. Those lights displaying the score on the outside are unreal.

Haha! Wow.

I haven't even seen Rick Nash out there. Ouch.

Hahaha, did anyone else see the failed high-fives in the crowd after the Doughty goal?

Isn't there a subreddit for those?

I bumped into him at a Giants game last year. Really wanted to grill him a bit about JFJ.

I'd rather Nash than Carter or Kunitz

He tried to dive to get the shot away so its not a penalty? If Nash wasn't being held he wouldn't have had to

Disagree. Hall and Giroux should be there instead of Carter and Kunitz, but MSL is on the team now, so I'm good with Nash

Giroux, Hall, E. Staal, Thornton or Neal > Nash, Duchene, Carter and Kunitz.

I totally forgot Thornton wasn't there. I retract my statement about Nash in that case.

If Thornton was there WITH Nash, I wouldn't mind the Nash selection on the team. Those guys have undeniable chemistry, and if you put Marleau on that line with them, you're golden.

Rick Nash is arguably having the worst year of his career. No chance this guy should have been on the team based on his play.

He was picked based on his performance for Canada in the past. That is dangerous, 4 years is a long time.

Is that how fast Nash can skate these days BTW? Or is his effort level garbage?

Haugen did well, especially considering he hasn't played for Minsk since early December because of a groin injury.

Canada knows it's not about the destination, it's about the journey? **** no. We want to win every game, and do so in a definite fashion.

Again, what? Our destination is the gold medal game. Every game is played to get to that gold medal game. Shut up Healy. Your expressions are bad, and you should feel bad.

Nash was the worst player on the ice tonight. Just dreadful.

Well it's a win but Canada will have to connect on more of their opportunities vs more elite teams.

Not sure I'd call this a great effort from them even though they dominated the shots and possession.

I think this was a decent result but they obviously need more chemistry to get their forward and defense combos to click and pot their chances.

I'd like to see one of Nash or Carter benched tomorrow, along with Hamhuis to get Duchene and Subban in there.
