This team wont win gold. Goaltending is too shoddy.

Should have picked BPA's instead of overthinking things. WJHC all over again IMHO.

Here's my Canada B Team for Olympics big ice surface.

I'm sure I missed someone, what does your team look like? How does it stack up against other nations?

Neal Giroux St Louis
Hall Thornton Seguin
Couture Nugent Hopkins Skinner
Lucic Eric Staal MacKinnon
Cogliano M. Richards

Campbell Seabrook
Giordano Boyle
Phaneuf Letang
Beauchemin Hamonic

Crawford Fleury Bernier

Edit: replace with Beauchemin

My take on this selection:
At C position -> rock solid
RW ->Weak with stamkos and very weak without
LW ->Slightly less weak than RW
D ->Rock solid. I couldn't have asked for better D. Glad to see Subban make it and hopefully he'll get at least a little ice time.
G -> Hopefully Luongo can start and finish. Although he plays jekyl and hyde, I still much prefer him over the other 2 especially Price who makes bad mistakes at bad times.

Bronze for this team is a stretch and that'll only happen bc of the D.

Well at least they finally acknowledged he exists.

I'm not happy with all the selections myself but this is pretty clueless.

And how many times was he actually on the ice? Bringing up WC when obviously it was a poor showing is dumb

How was Duchene 11-12?

Plus, I was referencing his crap start this season, alleged crap start. He's had defensive lapses but has been better.

RW->Stamkos (1st or second best team canada player), Carter, Perry, Nash. Clueless? Really?

Think of it like this. Carter shouldn't be on the team, yet if Stamkos can't play, he'll be our top line RW.

There have been plenty of rivals on team Canada in the past. This is a non-issue.

Perry's the 2nd best, and Carter and Nash shouldn't be on the team. Add to that, any of the centers can play the RW wing as well.

If you're going to take Benn and Carter, why not James Neal? In some ways, other than maybe Giroux and St. Louis, he seems like the biggest omission.

And he plays with Crosby!

i don't agree with the benn, vlasic and hamius picks, the rest of the team is fine if these 3 are scratches.

Marleau, Nash and Carter are all atrocious selections, especially considering who was left off the team.

And their "need" to take LHD to a fault just looks dumb. How is Brent Seabrook not on this team.

Nash is garbage. Who cares what he did in the past. He's not the same player this year. What a joke.

It's laughable to me how a guy like Giordano was on the bubble yet Hall wasn't.
