Only if Price could get his goals against down to 1.50 eh?

The preacher was preaching NO EXCUSES....well no excuses to not pull your goalie in a 3-1 game.....I don't care how bad they was playing....I see teams get lucky after playing crap for 55 min, steal a tie or win.....That move is ECHL at best......How your benching a soon to be 10 million dollar a year player who leads the team in scoring,it's way over my head.

All the Martin defenders who stuck until the end ,while most of us seen it very early sending up the get rid of him chants, the defenders of Martin found out the wreck it really was, when players spoke out!

Hard to fool fans when they just seen this same movie 1.5 years ago!!!!!
The coach needs to change or get out, before the damage is unrepairable.

Coaches are always whipping the player for there mistakes,,(benching)

What about the coaches, there always perfect eh? to bad we couldn't bench them too for stupid decisions.

They had a virtual 10 game winning streak earlier on, due in large part to Therrien's coaching. PK Subban is improving his all-around game, due in large part to Therrien's disciplinary approach. Carey Price is having the best statistical year of his career, due in large part to Therrien's defensive system.

The guy is easily one the best coaches in the league and the Canadiens are having a great season because of that, yet every so often when they hit a small bump on the road it's Therrien's head on a platter? Some of you people need to get a grip. Spoiled, ungrateful fans.
We know how you really feel but your sarcasm at a time like this doesn't make anyone feel better.

This was only a matter of time with the way they played going back 15 games ago. Even during the winning streak, they were being outchanced and outshot.

Only things that kept this team's head above water is Price, Subban, an above average PP and a ****** Eastern conference. Now that the PP is down to 10% in the last 10 games, MT better pray Price doesn't have a bad stretch of games.

Possibly worse, but a majority of fans are willing to take that chance as soon as noon today. Please, MB, we're dying to hear the announcement!

It just kicked in that it hasn't even been a full year that Therrien is coaching these guys. That's pathetic. He managed to lose them in less than a year...

Pens went to cup finals with him..then year later fired.
Pens figured it out.....they felt(Blysma) there players weren't being used properly to there individual STRENGTHS.
Also WANTED MORE UP TEMPO System..

So here we are with a team of "grinders",some who might throw 15-20 -30 checks a year(playin dump and chase hockey...ya)...Benching your leading scorer like he's a 4th line grinder.lol

The one thing that irks me is that in the midst of this debacle some fans are blaming Brandon Prust. It's like focusing on one falling tree when the whole forest is ablaze and the forest ranger is seen still holding a gasoline container.

give me a PK first instead of team first IMO.

Give me the Dallas game vs any of these terrible "team first" games MT is trying to shove down the players throats.

maybe will go the next 20 games like this, double shift ....
Wont pull goalie.Bench our leading scorer every 2-3 games.

Will show them how to be a real man ,old spice not necessary.

Any history of a Norris trophy D getting benched?

Hopefully PK knows it's just MT and not the organization or fans who have a problem with him.

Any word on if they plan on calling up anyone to fill in for Galchenyuk and White? White will be back probably late January.

I just hope we don't use 7 dmen for anymore games.

I remember MT on 24ch last year praising that they needed to score 3 goals to win hockey games, can't really remember him saying it this year i wonder what changed?

Didn't he get fired in Pittsburg for treating his franchise player the same way?

Dude, obviously I was reaching. It was a joke. I was just using an unflattering picture of MB to poke fun at him.

but the way you incorrectly used 'your' . . . now that is . . .

This was honestly one of the worst games I've seen in a while. Really poor.

We can't know for sure, but it's tempting to think that there was some kind of rift between MaxPac and Therrien when rumors were swirling. The Brière confrontation was well-documented. And now PK. Again. Therrien took a lot of heat for the way he was using PK and how this was going to hurt his chances to make the Olympic team. Probably all coincidence but ... as soon as PK plays his first game after earning his Olympic nomination, Therrien unloaded on him big time.

Therrien is not applying the same type of sanctions to his veteran players who don't produce. He knows he will have lost the room for good when he loses his veterans -- and so he keeps parading him out there, giving them prime minutes while the limiting ice time of those younger players he dislikes or who may not buy into his coaching methods.
