Even in the pre-draft video clips some posted of him, he never looked enthralled with speaking to the media. This should be fun.

I would venture that we get even less information from him through the media than we get from Regier. And I'm fine with that.

The ending to the PC was amazing.

I don't think the word "positive" is in Sullivan's vocabulary.

He actually kind of reminded me of early-days Darcy. Quick. Abrupt. To the point.

And I have this hunch that Murray's leak policy will be the same as Regier......which means that if we hear Buffalo rumors, they're pretty much automatically wrong.

First impression: Love the frankness of Tim Murray.

Some of those questions were terrible. Shame no one bothered to ask what kind of hockey he prefers, but I suppose some members in the Buffalo media have their own axes to grind.

I didn't expect Craig Patrick to come as well, but I guess he is there to act as a front office Sherpa.

Best of luck to Tim Murray.

Not this again... Look at Emonton, putting 1st rounders in their top6 and thinking everything will pan out...

I'm sure they're interested, but I'd imagine they're really after Callahan.

Callahan's from Rochester, doesn't count.

I'm sure they would be interested in any players from the WNY/Southern Ontario regions that fit their needs.

Not sure what you mean there.

Just read Patricks Wiki page. He has had some very good results and made some very bad trades, including one that has been tabbed the wortst in NHL history. Marcus Naslund to Vancouver for a guys who scored two goals.

Ultimately, with Pittsburgh cash strapped, he was forced to trae Jagr and the team flamed. His contract with Pitt was not renewed by ...... Ken Sawyer. There is our connection.

"After 17 years as Penguins General Manager, Patrick was relieved of his duties on April 20, 2006, when his expiring contract was not renewed by team president Ken Sawyer" (Wiki)

Interesting. Ken Sawyer is currently Senior Advisor/Alternate Governor for the Sabres.
