If we don't show enough emotion and energy after those pretty horrible performances against the isles and rangers... then I don't know what to do. Fire or not to be fired.
Please tell me you did not just go there......

That's kind of what i meant, why is Holland down if we are playing a winger at center?

Sigh... Toronto rarely plays well when the opposing team uses their back ups. I had the same reaction when they had the Islanders had Poulin in net but I kept those thoughts to myself.

Plus they're playing in Carolina tonight where they've lost 5 of the last 6 meetings here even when they've used Peters and Ward in those games

I imagine they want Holland to get more ice time.

We get a 2nd rounder from Anaheim if Holland plays less than 25 games. I think he's at 23.

They didn't lose to the Islanders because of Poulin.

@jonasTSN1050: Carlyle on Holland: "We felt it was probably hurting his development curve to leave him as a fourth-line centre."

Pretty much what everyone suggested

Regardless, you can never say that a certain team should win this one just because of injuries and such. We've (The Fans) done that with Buffalo and Chicago whether we win or lose.

Basically I'm prepared to see them win or lose on any given night

Nothing is ever a given in Pro Sports. I do expect them to win tonight though just like I did against the Islanders.

3rd game in a row I read that this game is "ours" or that we "should win".

Bull ****ing crap.

If anything, the other team is saying that about us. Every team for us is the biggest mountain to climb.

Wait, wait, it gets even better.

Over the past dozen games Holland has outplayed and outproduced Kadri at center so replacing Holland at center with a natural winger seems like a bizarro world move that doesn't make a lot of sense on the surface.

To me moving Holland up to the 2nd line, Kadri down to the 3rd and McClement centering the 4th line would have made the most logical sense to me.

I'd expect the Ashton to center move experiment to be as successful as the JVR to the middle move was earlier only on a smaller scale with less TOI/g to matter.

The usual Leaf killers (Staal, Ward) are out.

So, get ready for a loss anyways!

Ruutu-Skinner-Semin
Gerbe-J. Staal-Dwyer
Lindholm-Sutter-Boychuk
Bowman-Malhotra-Dvorak (maybe this is the 3rd line?)

Sekera-Faulk
Hainsey - Bellemore
Liles-Murphy

If Hainsey can't go, it's likely Harrison in his spot (he's just coming off IR).

Khodobin in goal

What an awful lineup
So I guess we'll lose only 6-0

So guys, I have to ask what the deal with this GIF is. The OP put it in the Canes GDT and I almost spit my coffee out. I assume it's during warm-ups before a game? Was Komi standing there or going in the wrong direction? or what?

I love how it appears Phaneuf just looks at his arm with no concern over Komisarek.
