And to think we needed 10 million in buyouts just to squeak under the cap

Let that sink in.

Is Carlyle following in the steps of Mike Shanahan by purposely making dumb decisions one after the other?

Sadly this team is a joke, they are more likely to extend Carlyle's contract than even think of firing him.

This irregular schedule can't be helping any goalie
he certainly hasn't been as sharp as he could be for sure. however certainly better than the goaltending we saw in the prior game the leafs played.

here is the bright side.

with the Metro totally on fire right now, Detroit could lose their playoff spot too. Holland fires Babcock, we get Babcock

Those escape goats are so HARD. We have the HARDEST escape goats in the league. They all clearly need botox because the hardness is wearing on their faces.

Ok cool, so Reimer needs to give up 3 goals to get into the swing of things. Not even a useful backup then.

THIS team was a playoff team until this? THIS team was a playoff team everytime they played this season....? Before this game. I'm blown away while looking at this game right now.

It's incredible how they kept the playoff spot so long. Look at this game. Kessel's worst game I ever saw. He shouldn't be playing at all. Totally useless. Makes this team worse right now at this moment.

You had me there for a second. You should've said Holland fires Babcock, not fired Babcock.

Oh definitely not the reimer from the 50 shots vs caps game. But given the circumstances and the team's play, is that surprising?
