2nd- Nelson Nielsen Bailey
3rd- Grabner Strome Clutter
4th MM-CC-CM

HAAN/Ham
Hickey AMAC
Strait Donovan?
Bailey on the left and Nelson on the right for line 2.

Again, 2nd pair would be MacDonald-Strait and 3rd would be Hickey-Donovan. That was the defense group Monday and Carkner simply went in for Donovan on Tuesday. Of course something could change.

I'm getting confused with Bailey and Nelson. Bailey switched to RW and Nelson played left wing for Vanek so that's where I got confused. Also, do you think it would be better to have Donovan playing with Strait since Strait is more of a stay at home guy than Hickey?

From Coventry and a Blaze fan! I was born in Coventry and grew up watching that team before I moved to Newcastle. The team here folded and I ended up watching NHL fulltime via Gamecenter.

As for tonight's game, I just want to see the first line keep scoring at their current pace and hope Okposo and Tavares can keep hitting the net.

Bailey has played better on the left wing. But, with this kid, who the hell knows.

Thanks!

I've been knocking around the boards for the last three and a bit seasons, only started posting last year. I prefer reading to commenting and love the prospects thread!

Couldn't help commenting on seeing a fellow Brit and a Cov fan to boot! Loved the combo of Adam Calder and Dean Carlson for the Blaze, seeing the screen name reminded me of home...

Islanders are going to have to win a track meet. If they are to beat Colorado tonight they will need to score more then 4 goals. Hopefully the boys can keep their road success going!

If they are going to beat anyone, they will need to score a lot. We still don't have a win unless we score 3+.

Was reading the Avs GDT and they all said that they thought that us Isles fans are being arrogant and ridiculous because they claim that all we are talking about in our thread is how this game should be an easy win for us. Looking through the thread, I don't really see anyone claiming an easy win or calling the Avs overrated at all lol.

Haha nice! Its a shame the Vipers folded and I guess the closest EIHL team to you now is Hull which is a bit far. I spent many sunday evenings Carlson and Calder as part of the best first line in the league. The grandslam season and winning the League in 2010 in Calders final season were epic.

Hope the games a good one tonight! (just not too good for you )

I doubt I'll be getting the Isles feed on CI tonight, but that's awesome for him. Tonight and the next game.

They could move Nelson back to center, slot Strome on the RW and flip Bailey back to LW. I know it isn't popular opinion, but I really feel that Nelson at C and Strome on RW will bring the best out of both players.

Looking back at past games between these two teams, they are usually pretty close and always seem exciting. Hopefully Poulin keeps it together and they keep those legs moving because we can't afford to lose any more ground.

God I feel so bad for you. With DirecTV, I have yet to not get the Isles feed. Some nights I find myself going to the opposing team's feed just for some different perspective and to learn more about that team. But, it would anger me if I didn't have the choice.

Looks like the team has made the decision that Strome will be the future #2 center and that Nelson will be a winger based on their usage. It first looked like Nelson was being groomed as a center last year, but it seems they have changed. That takes Strome away from JT at ES and Nelson will likely be a middle 6 winger.

I am glad I got Gamecenter over CI, maybe the picture quality isn't quite as good but I like the fact I can watch feeds from either team
