It depends on your cable provider. For DirecTV, I have 4 channels for every game. SD and HD of both feeds. Has never failed me yet. The only time their is only one broadcast is when it involves a Canadian team, but even then it is still always an SD and HD option.

True.... that doesn't mean it's the best rout to go though. We're also talking about a team that refuses to take AMac of the 1st unit, and benched Nelson a ton so Regin/PMB could play.

I still think that eventually, you're going to see them move Nelson back to center and slide Strome to RW.

The best is the contrast between the tying goal, and JT's OT winner.

I live in Canada, in general they only have 1 feed for each game, and generally go with HD home broadcasts first, Away HD broadcast Second and then home team(for whatever reason their is a few teams they don't show home feeds for like Chicago and Philly, basically teams not on FSN). They also don't have Islander broadcasts in HD. I would guess about 30 games basically are Islanders feed, 50 games other teams feed

Only times when I have to watch non Islander feeds now is when we play the leafs or jets(and in the case of the Jets I can't watch them at all since I don't have the special Jets channel).

Oh that is a bummer. I have the lowest possible package for DirecTV (because I really watch nothing on TV except sports) and then I added on Center Ice. The problem with the lowest package is that it doesn't include NBCSN. So if the Isles play on that, they are blacked out on Center Ice. But the day of the game I go to the DirecTV website and switch to the higher package that includes it. Then after the game I switch back. The price is prorated per day, so it costs like 40cents. Haha.

I think since Direct TV has access to all the FSN and MSG channels, they have the rights to show both while in the case of Canadian providers they have to pay for rights so they cheap out and get one or the other. As I said Gamecenter seems to have both feeds for most games with some exceptions(I am guessing it would suck to be a Jets fan. lol). I guess I have the opposite of what you have with Canadian broadcast(which we get both feeds for when it 2 Canadian teams)

The post is probably when someone said the Avs haven't been good in their past 10 games, which isn't true considering their 5-2-3. Just because one poster says that shouldn't define 'Isles fans'.

Ah, that makes sense. I see the pickle you are in.

And yes, it does suck to be a NY Jets fan.

And it was only two years ago.... people that constantly slam the rebuild should look closely at that.

Some fans need bulletin board material to get up for the game. Besides one comment of someone saying they have been off the last 10 games, no one has put down the Avs or said we should win this easily. Their fans are just pissed because we have JT.

I hope I can at least make it to the 2nd. I'm tired and I hate these west coast games.
