A hot team versus a pathetically average team.

Welcome home guys, hope practice resolved some of your issues.

Have you been on the Vintage Columbus site, Sam? I saw that picture there, recently.

Yeah, good catch. I never look at the lines, but your post prompted me to look at it. Don't know where Sam got the lines, but it's been known for at least 12 hours that Comeau wasn't playing today.

I know Sam is just posting it from some other source, but Dubinsky should be centering Calvert and Atkinson.

In other news, last I heard Craig was a question mark.

I posted this in another thread (instead of entering the Fargo/Spokane/Izhevsk debate),

Here's how they skated yesterday (from Puckrakers):

F1: Calvert-Dubinsky-Atkinson

F2: Foligno-Johansen-Umberger

F3: Jenner-Anisimov-Horton

F4: Comeau-Letestu-Tropp

Interesting mix! I'm sure the line numbering could go any way, but those top three look to be very well balanced. This was before Comeau was injured, so either Craig will step in on the fourth line, there will be a call-up from Springfield, or they'll skate with seven defenders.

Jenner wasn't that impressive as the 4th line center. That Horton line should be the most interesting to watch.

I'd like to get Craig back to Springfield and get someone else up here.

Aaron Portzline ‏@Aportzline
#CBJ Ryan Craig will play tonight vs. Hurricanes.

Rob Mixer ‏@RobMixer
Not like this was any secret, but #CBJ LW Matt Calvert will play tonight vs. Carolina. Ryan Craig draws in on the fourth line.

To make it clear as to which Staal is in and which is out, Eric's out while Jordan's in. With Eric out, Jordan, Malhotra, and Faulk are serving as the three alternates. Hainsey was also experiencing flu-like symptoms yesterday and was a gametime decision, I'd expect that tonight as well.

I agree. Something like 16-18 points would be great and may be necessary to help offset the pre-Olympic west coast swing.

Hearing reports that with the high percentage of home games coming up, now would be a great time to make a run.

The DSL PEC and Ty Conklin agree.

Leaving for the game, feels like an eternity since the last home game. See everyone at the arena. Go Jackets!

Gotta be hard on Skinner and Semin. Can't give them ANY time to shoot near the middle of the ice. To get goals we have to attack the net hard, they don't have a very physical defense/team imo.

Channel isn't working for TWC in NE Ohio. Anyone else having issues with the broadcast?

I did away with TWC at two locations and switched to DTV.... My feed in Louisville is fine...

That said, as the playoff season slips away Calvert might save the day... the Jackets must win tonight and several more to stay competitive..
