I would love Buff on the Leafs just so he can demolish Lucic, when the Leafs play the Bruins. If the concerns about his defense are really that bad, try and convert him back to a forward then.

Unfortunately the Leafs don't need more wingers. Especially with a 5M+ cap hit.

Buf is a solid top 4 D, his misfortunes are exaggerated.

this would be a good selling point for franson when Nonis trades him

As much as I like Buff, this would be bad timing for him in Toronto.

Sometimes I get the feeling that every player we have will be better some place else. This would be a good time for other teams to trade with Toronto, and I wonder who will take advantage first. Whoever it is, I hope the trade makes more sense than this proposal, though.

Jets take this and run as fast as they can. Buff is addition by subtraction.

Nonnis should be taking notes on this one. Remember the line perfectly.

yes the team's leading point-getter who plays the most minutes not to mention the toughest minutes while being paired with waiver-wire fodder is an addition through subtraction

I get that some people don't like high risk high event players (even though I think it's silly) but that's just moronic
