The Future of Cory Stillman

Has Cory Stillman actually found the desire to show up for more than half a season?

Won't break 40 again, but he won't be a bum.

I think he'll come close to repeating.

Certainly will break 40 points.

He'll get over 40 points, but I don't think he'll repeat last season's perfromance.

I doubt he'll put up 67 points again, but he'll certainly have no trouble scoring 40 points. If it wasn't for Peter Sejna falling in the Blues' lap, he'd still be slotted to play on Weight's wing.

He'll lead the Barrie Colts in scoring this year.

He was drafted by the Isles in the 4th round of the 2001 NHL draft. He battled injuries his last two seasons and the Isles didn't sign him. He went undrafted the second time around and was at the Blue Jackets training camp as an invitee this offseason. He was released and has returned to the OHL for an overager season. He's playing with the Barrie Colts and his stats look good so far. He's a good player when healthy. If he can put together a consistent season, one where he can at least play the whole year, he could earn himself a contract.

Just looking through my old threads, and it turns out that the majority was right. Stillman is on his way to a career year in Tampa.
