Now pay attention, fellow Canes fans, because this is all going to be on the test at the end of the year. Don't come crying to me when it's the day before exams and you think Algernon is a tiger on a boat. First, the notes that you should know if you were paying attention this semester:
Eric Staal was practicing on Sunday and could return in this game. Let's hope Big Brother was watching, because Jordan was a force to be reckoned with in the games Eric missed. And as well as Jordan's been playing lately, if Eric doesn't return soon, it's doubleplus ungood. Nash and Ward might also return for this game, while Malhotra may miss it.
For those that wear the scarlet letter, Kurt Russell has an MCL sprain, Blair Jones has a meniscal tear, and alternate captain Curtis Glencross had this happen to him:
Somebody contact Homer, because he just went to the Cringe level of hell. Also, the Flames have been shutout a lot lately. Like...a lot, a lot. Which means that if there was ever a game to try Peters out, this would probably be the one.

Can't afford to NOT get the win tonight. No excuses.
they really have no choice but to ride the hottest hand now and hope for the best. no doubt Khudobin gives them the best chance to win at this point. some offence would be nice though. no excuses is right.....
edit: no excuses in that they need to come out flying and accept nothing but wins from now on. show intensity and at least make it look like they're trying. every single point is needed from here on out. or else.........they will simply miss the post season..again.
Not feeling good about tonight. The only reason that Calgary is not worse than Buffalo at this point is because they outwork everyone they play. And we aren't the hardest working team in the NHL, to put it lightly.
Combine that with the fact that we are only more talented than they are in our top forwards, and I'm feeling a loss.
