With or without Stamkos, we've got to start beating the top teams in our own conference. Tonight would be a great start.

need two points...in regulation would be nice...i don't think they'll have Hedman or Salo after getting injured against Philly

Ever since I've moved and was forced to change cable companies, I lost NBC Sports and NHL Network and haven't been able to watch much hockey, but I can't believe I've somehow missed that Tampa is in 2nd place in the Atlantic. Wow.

Agree, though Curtis shut them out, last time.

Starting McBackup Saturday night, looks genius now.

Jackets 3-1

Letestu strikes again with the GWG.

Actually, that was the game where Bob got hurt so they both played. Bob was hurt 4:13 into the 3rd period so Curtis only had to hold on for about 15 minutes and did not get credit for a shutout.

Ok. Wearing a hat tonite...feeling us getting close to that long overdue hatty.

Also, is it me, or is it looking like a decent crowd for a Monday night? Some big promo going? Based on TM, we may have best Monday crowd this year and maybe for a few years.

Interesting. 101 and 102 are usually a ghost town on nights like these. Maybe they sold a lot of 6 game packs as gifts over the holidays ?

I think to night is a Nationwide employe night.

A regulation/OT win tonight would put us in 10th in the conference, leaping over 3 teams. Let's do it!

Edit: Actually, since we split the season series with Ottawa so far, even a win in the shootout should place us higher than them based on the 4th tie breaker being goal differential.

Could Umby hit the water if he was on the beach?
