Question - now that you've got two solid lines going, where does Elias fit when he comes back? Who for linemates?

you know it will be bernier

Marty and Jagr got GREAT ovations when announcing the three stars; especially Marty (Obviously).

Loki and Brunner are Elias line mates.

It'll probably be the middle of those...with Marty also getting the Caps to get him 'ready' for the Winter Classic. So yeah I have Marty playing three of the next five which would start up the Marty/Cory thread again.

Elias fits in with Brunner and Loktionov/Josefson/Boucher

But Brunner has to come back to but you can't break the other two lines.

Jagr line
Ryder line
Elias/Brunner/JJ,Lokti,Boucher

**** it, I'll eat some crow. I hated the Clowe signing from the get go and when he got concussed again I thought "what a ****in surprise. Good job Lou!" Man... ever since he came back he's been a monster. He's really clicking with Ryder and Henrique and they're producing a lot. So happy to see that. I hope Clowe can keep up the way he's playing for the rest of the season. He's definitely been a bright spot in a season that's been a struggle so far.

They'll probably go with what they had before he got hurt ironically enough, Elias-Gionta-Bernier...then sub Brunner in when he gets back.

I'm fine with Marty in Colorado. Cory in Phoenix. Or the other way around, I don't really care.

Great overall game from Fayne tonight

He's been pretty solid since he's been in consistently and is one of the most reliable guys we've had in a while at keeping/holding the puck in our O zone

The question about Clowe was never really his hockey ability though I do admit being worried about his offense after his poor season last year and underwhelming first few games this year.

Great to see a complete game by this team. It's felt like years since we had a 2 goal lead and actually felt safe.

Ugh please no Pete. Pete has won some points with me in the last week by getting the team to show up every night. Please don't do something that stupid to water down the scoring.

I'd rather see an Elias/Jagr line somehow. The current Jagr line has really dried up. That could get him going again.

Elias-Lokti-Boucher

or

Elias-Lokti-Brunner

Frankly, I want JJ, but that won't happen with Pete

I doubt we see Lokti anytime soon since he can't even get in the lineup consistently when we have 2 forwards out, let alone when were fully healthy.
