Habs @ Sens Game 6 (6 PM Sunday)

let's stop talking about last game and focus on the future just like the team no doubt will.

Habs Will win this game. Easily.

We light up Anderson in the first period. Price shuts out senators.

The real question here is - Detroit, or Tampa? Who do you guys think we land in round 2? And how many games will we need to eliminate them? 4-5? more?

Its a win win for fans.

Habs win we advance to 2nd round.

Habs lose and therrien gets exposed for being a stubborn dumb coach which will hurt him longer term especially if we get off to a slow start next year.

I have a feeling one of Chucky/Patches steps up and puts 2 in the net, probably Patches.

We haven't fired Lefebvre from Hamilton who has missed the play-offs for 3 years, and his PP has finished in the bottom of the league all 3 of those years.

Therrien would have to abduct Price's dogs after 3 losing seasons to get canned.

Win.

Maybe Lefebvre gets canned this year?

Besides there's 1000000000 times more pressure in Montreal to get results anyways.

If we lose series and habs are struggling next year he's gone by January. If we win series you can forget any possibility.

It is remarkably this. Other than being swept, I can't think of another situation where Therrien's job might have been in jeopardy. Losing a 3-0 series lead is more humiliating than being swept, and might be enough to precipitate change. So it really is win-win.

Only problem is it might do damage to the long term confidence of our players.

I'm not concerned we've lost the last 2 games. I'm concerned they haven't been able to score at all this series. The top 6 has 3 goals between them in 5 games. Our depth players have won us 2 of 3 games basically. It's very possible they could lose out.

We are playing a perimeter game and Ottawa is right there, swarming the middle of the ice to take away Anderson's rebounds..

We need to take a page out of the Blues book and bring a forward high to the point, this will force Ottawa to bring one of their players out of the crease area, which should allow us to get more shots through and give the players in the scoring area a better chance at puck retrieval for second chances.

You know what would be nice? Scoring more than one goal.

Oh and let's get crazy. Scoring first would be nice as well, and why not in the 1st period while we're at it.

I wish this could happen, but I don't get my hopes up too much...

I remember the game last year against Boston game 5 and everyone thought the wheels were coming off, Boston scored some iffy goals.

The next game Price came out amazing followed by another.

I think Price will be in full game mode tomorrow and the guys will find a way to score a few, just remain optimistic.

Won't happen though.

One goal in two games. The top two scorers are Mitchell and Flynn. The PP is lower that the alcohol % in a bud light. Now is the time to really evaluate MT. Is he going to adjust or not? Is he going to bring the right corrections? Will he be able to regroup his team and motivate them?

Last game was the first time I've been really angry watching the Habs all year. So frustrating. If they don't bring it tomorrow, ****. I'll be raging. So disappointed in the team after those efforts. Wow.

That said, if they turn it on tomorrow and win, all is forgiven, moving on is all that matters at this point. If some players get hot or Carey steps up next series we'd have a chance, there's always a chance in the playoffs so winning is all that matters. Just ****ing win. Or at least, compete and give it everything ya got, my god.

Spot on,

What had me raging was the fact that they gave 0 effort.

If they had at least battled and tried to score and lost by 1 goal in OT or something I would have been okay.

You are talking about making adjustments. There is no place for this in the system, sorry.
