If this were available I'd probably pull the trigger from the Oilers side.
Thats awful for Columbus. They would be back to the Nash days.

He certainly can become a superstar, but considering how that organization is run, I cannot see it happening in Edmonton.
compare the way the Oilers play with Hall in the lineup and without and tell me Hall doesn't drag the team to a higher level... which is a pretty sad statement about the team itself but Hall is a guy that puts a team on his back and tries to drag them kicking and screaming along with him. When they were briefly in a playoff position last year it was pretty all because Taylor Hall took them there.

Come on when i say 2C what i am really saying is 1a/1b . He would have to have upside like Hall but able to be a great 2 C now with room to get better . Read between the lines . I said a young 2 C , which mean the are not done developing .

Oiler fans obviously won't agree to anything for Hall though and rightfully so.
Think back to the summer . Then what ever you offer double it . Karma

This is correct . I want a more balance team now . I do not want futures . This is why Oilers fans do not want to trade our young kids . I want a big 2 c that is young and can become better and maybe even push the Nuge as the 1 C . Hall is a first line player so we require a real nice sweetener on top
We are not looking for a bunch of lessor players . We need NHL players that have upside close to Halls upside that is a Centre and plays physical 2 way hockey . Big order yes , but we are happy to keep Hall and offer lessor pieces for your studs and listen to the wining about how we want your studs but make ours off limits

I think if Hall could land us a big young centre our team would be come more balance .
The Centre needs to be a young NHL player that is physical and can play a two way game .
Eberle RNH someone like Simmonds
Yakupov big C another big winger or Perron .
Makes a more balance team and the top 2 lines are tougher and would be more physical

No since ripping on there or the dumb lowball offers just to start a **** storm . No Oilers fans over value their players . All fans do . Also just because we need to fill holes does not mean we should sell low
The problem is the type of player you would most likely be willing to trade for Hall would not be available for Hall so it would have to be Hall+ unless you are looking for a high end number 2 center instead of a number 1.

Hall value is that of a good 2nd line center.

What sort of center are you looking for? Sounds like you are looking for someone like a Couts with more offense?

Is John Tavares a superstar? Look where he has elevated his team this year?

One to many shots, or one too many shots to the head?

You're honestly saying Taylor Hall's worth is around that of a Kesler/Pavelski/Richards type?

No. All kinds of no. Don't let the Seguin trade confuse you, Boston took poor value to move him quickly.
