They better win, because this announcement is ridiculously over the top.

That forced "Go Canada go!" chant got to the levels of "Claptrap's birthday party!" awkward for me.

James Duthie ‏@tsnjamesduthie 2m We might have the rights back before this is done.

Dave Hodge - TSN ‏@TSNDaveHodge 1m This is what shootouts are for.

Down Goes Brown ‏@DownGoesBrown 18s Next up, Jason Allison will take a penalty shot...

Dave Hodge - TSN ‏@TSNDaveHodge 7m LeBron had gone to Miami by now.

haha

EDIT: Down Goes Brown ‏@DownGoesBrown 18s Kevin Lowe's rebuild thinks this is taking a completely reasonable amount of time.

lol

Marleau and Nash made the team? That's a bit of a surprise that'd they select both those guys.

veteran team. i'm ok with it. rather have Marleau and Nash than Giroux or Hall at this time. Hall will get his chance to represent Canada in a best vrs best. don't worry.

Really surprised to see Nash make the team over MSL and Giroux. Based off his play this year, he's not remotely deserving of playing for TC.

Kunitz is purely service to crosby so crosby better play like the best player in the world or this move will look very very very bad.

I'm not as down on the Nash pick as others, he's been not good this year but he has that rare combination of size and strength and he has played well internationally before. I'm more worried about our defense to be honest.

Nash is Team Canada's Bobby Ryan.

However the USA was smart enough to not pick him.

Not a fan of Jeff Carter on the team. 65~ point player who doesn't bring much other than a good shot.

Neither him or Nash should be there imo. Big mistake to leave Giroux off the team.

Don't like the Nash pick at all........yeah he was useful in 2010 he has been junk the last few seasons....

Like that Subban made it.

Hard to say in a tourney like this but I am not feeling as good about the team as I did going into 2010....

I don't mind the Nash pick. He's battled injuries this year and was almost a ppg last year. Does Carter have wheels? Shocked he's on after being a reserve in 2010.
