I always assumed it was a tenured position.

He strikes me as just an atrocious person if you were around him in person.

Uh oh, the argument to end all arguments.

Shut down the board, poster A's hockey career is inferior to the career of the subject of discussion.

It's all over now, good bye everybody!

He's horrible, knows nothing about other teams in the league but posts and talks like he does. Just brutal.

Damn, I am missing Cox's tweets. I was blocked by that guy a long time ago. I'm up to three blocks.

My hockey career personally went down the tubes.

Former Jr B 4th line "looks good in warmup's" to a Div 4 Beer league all star to a Div 4 beer league vet that should probably hang them up.

Heres a good one for you all.

A Hockey Story

So our day begins at the golf course where I have been battling in the Lindy Ruff all day. We call it quits and head into the club house for some Bob Beers and some Kelly Buchburgers. After crushing many drinks we decided to hit the local night club to check out some Carl Dykhaus and some Joe Nieuwendykes.

I noticed that I was getting eyeballed by some Neil Sheehy and she had a bit of a Doug Weight problem. A real Jamie McCOWan. I thought to myself "I can't stoop this Patrick Marleau". She wanted to take off, and I wasn't sticking around for the ugly lights to come on, so I paid the Rick Tabaracci and we hopped in a Tomas Kaberle.

I took her back to my Phil Housley where things got a little hot and steamy. She geared down and not to my surprise her Keri Taco was a bit Joe Reekie and Jason Wooley. I decided she needed a Bill Barber, pulled out my Donald Brashears and shaved her hair diaper down to the Randy Wood. She then proceeded to trim my Harry Snepts and the bush around my Pekka Rautakeileo. I then reacted quickly and popped her Don Cherry but she was too Ken Dryden, so I flipped her over grabbed my Haken Loob and threw it in her Curtis Brown with no Tie Domi. After a few pumps she started to complain that she was to Marty Mcsorley to go on. So I snapped and quickly showed her to the Daryl Sydor and told her maybe I'll call her Brendon Morrow. Needless to say she was Grant Fuhrious.

The next morning I had the worst Darren Puppa and I was Valeri Zelepukin all day. And two weeks later I noticed a Travis Green drip oozing from my Mike Babcock. So I booked an appointment with Dr. Randy Gregg and got a Corey Schwab.

But that isn't the end of the story! A month later I woke up and saw Garth Snow outside. The weather man said it was going to be a 30% chance of a Theo Fleury.

My car wouldn't start so I had to borrow my roommate's car. It's not as Chris Osgood as mine and it takes a Robert Luongo time to start, but I was stuck. When I went in his room to get the keys, there was that same Rick Brodsky with my roommate! She was sucking on his Mike Pecca while Esa Tikkinen his temperature with her finger. I said "buddy, don't do it! That Butch Goring has the fans clapping! I think she picked it up in Paul Kariya!" But he wouldn't listen to Marty Reasoner. Finally I said "keep up the Manny Legace", and ran out.

It's better off to just give Marincin those minutes. He's earned them. And apparently Klesla's game has really fallen off for whatever reason.

But if we've got a deal set up to move out Nick Schultz immediately, I'd be all-aboard.

From Lowetide's post today, this is what he is expecting the projected lineup to start next season to be;

G: Ben Scrivens
D: Jeff Petry, Martin Marincin, Andrew Ference, Justin Schultz
C: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Boyd Gordon, Matt Hendricks
L: Taylor Hall, David Perron, Luke Gazdic
R: Jordan Eberle, Nail Yakupov

This makes Mac T's summer shopping list look like this:

- Starting goalie
- Two top pairing defenceman
- 2nd line center
- 3rd line LW and RW
- 4th line RW

That's seven new players and three of those positions (starting goalie, top pairing Dmen) will be pretty hard to fill. I think Gagner brings back a goalie or a second pairing Dman and our 2014 1st brings back a top pairing Dman. That would leave us with having to sign 5 UFA's this summer. Mac T will have his work cut out for him.

What about Luke Schenn? I know he hasn't been playing well but he could thrive with us given that he brings some intangibles such as toughness and skill on the blueline.

I'd trade Sam Gagner for Luke Schenn straight up.

Struggling young player for a struggling young player, both players could use fresh starts elsewhere.

And with our track record with UFAs, that should be cake.

I think we're far from done on the trade front. This might just be a showcase that we're having with Marincin in the line-up. He and Gagner could be a good start to a package for a very good hockey player.

I know this may sound ridiculous but with Landers last interview he mentioned how when he comes here to play he is told to play a different style of play and lower his offensive style.

I propose we try him this year at 2 c for a few games. He is a bigger body that's I shown to play well defensively and can pk and has an offensive upside in the AHL, worth a try for a couple games at least.

Claim Klesla, trade N. Schultz anywhere for a pick. All you're doing is making an improvement on Schultz and gaining a pick that we've lost from Perron/Scrivens deals.

With Hemsky injured, I would. That's just me though. I like what Im seeing of Marincin, so I'd rather that spot not be taken right now. I will say this however... If they claim him, he comes in and settles onto the team, maybe he likes it and gives the Oilers props for helping him stay in the league for now, and decides to stay.

The guy's an NHL player for sure.

I'd rather trade Gagner straight up for Oullett. Schenn has ZERO upside. He is what he is. There's no offensive game that's going to come around. A guy like Oullett is pretty much NHL ready and has major upside to be a top 4 guy for years.

Gagner is worth more than either guy.. In my opinion of course.

got this idea from main board

bobby ryan for jordan eberle? what do you guys think? ryan is 6'2" 220 and would bring some much needed size to our top 6. Eberle is the more cererbral one and has sick mitts but honestly i think i would say yes

what do you say?
