playoff tv on alt ?

I see the games listed for both Alt and NBCsports, will we get our announcers on Alt?
Would be weird to not hear great insights from McN

If it is anything like normal, NBCSports will get their guys, NHLNetwork will pick up the home team feed (Minnesota) and we'll get great insight from people that know nothing about our team. Unfortunately completely losing out on Rycroft's intermissions.

Thought every game but one is on Altitude. So they'll be doing plenty of the games. Coloradans don't have to worry. We'd have to be in the SCF to have it go full national tv. Local coverage will by far be the majority for us.

Double checked, every game is on Altitude.

In recent years, the first round you got your home town tv to show games if they wanted to, but then the rounds after that I believe are all NBCSN and such. I could be wrong on the 2nd round.

In the old days - back to Fox Sports Rocky Mountain's coverage, local coverage lasted through the first two rounds, then Conference Finals and SC Finals were on ESPN. I can't remember what coverage looked like in '08 in terms of how far local coverage went.

Pretty sure I read Altitude has the rights to all 7 1st round games. So us locals will get our guys.

I remember in 1996 when the first couple rounds were on freaking PPV. It was brutal.

Hey y'all, I know I've mentioned before that I'm a cord-cutter and turned to GCL for the NHL viewing this year but have a question for anyone that's used GCL for a couple of years.

I know that the games are not shown live on GCL but I happened to notice that GCL has last years playoff games available for viewing. Does anyone know if this years games will be put up a day or two after they are played or do they not become available until the end of the summer?

Thanks for any info or feedback in advance.

This. All the 1st round games are on Altitude for sure with our commentators. Beyond that I don't know... it has been a while since this problem was even thought of.

I dunno.

But you can watch the games at my house. We'll take shots of Beam every time the Avs score, and have a Bubba Tea chaser.

Good lord...I wouldn't even be able to walk after the first period.

Now THAT'S the good old days. I only watched the Detroit series and the Finals that year. That's what got me hooked on the Avs, so I can't go back that far. But I do remember when channel 20 had some of the games (or was it channel 2?) - same crew, same production, just different microphone sleeves for John Kelly and Peter McNabb.

I'd love to but I shaved it off. Somehow I got confused around 2010 and decided to grow a beard until the AVs made the playoffs. It just wasn't fun shaving every day every spring.

This was me until a few weeks ago...

Being an out-of-town fan, what happens in the event that the NYR-PHIL game goes over on CNBC? Am I out of luck or will there be an alternative?

I think they will wait until the end of NYR-PHI game so basically COL-MIN won't start at 7.37 as it's usual start time for 7.30 games but later. They did it for Ducks and Stars game it started about 8.25 instead of 8.07. I don't know what they do if there is overtime.

Such late start really sucks for me. 7.30 it's 3.30 am in Poland. I'm afraid my son will wake up before end of the game and for me it will be end of the game because I need to take care of him.
