Colton Sissons 2nd round (50th overall), 2012

What is the future for Colton Sissons?

Where he will play next year?

Does he have a chance to play on the second line in the NHL one day?

I don't see him having a place in the team next year. But from the few times I've seen him I think he will be a good 2nd 3rd line tweener. But always so hard to tell with these kids in jr.

He still has another year of junior eligibility left before he can play in the AHL, so I'd predict he will return to Kelowna for one last season before making the jump to the professional ranks hopefully for the Admirals playoff run and then start the following season in Milwaukee prior to getting a look at the NHL. I see him as two years away depending on his development path. He has battled a couple of injuries that he will need to overcome next season...

NHL projection - Probably a top-9 power forward. Will likely not see much time on the top line, but can play in a role on either of the other two scoring lines to compliment his linemates...

Loved the pick. Hated the injuries. I just hope it doesn't derail his career.
