Raphael Diaz - Kevin Klein

SOLI'S SHORTSIDE

- Ryan Jones is out for the remaining 3 weeks of the season with a PCL injury

- Tyler Pitlick injured his leg and is a game-time decision.

- Mark Fraser and/or Philip Larsen could slot up front today if Pitlick can't go, less we got with only 10 forwards.

- These injuries to the forward core has pressed the Oilers into dressing at least 7 defensemen, a scenario played out a few times recently. I toy with the notion of dressing 7 defensemen regularly next season if a glut of young blue liners invade the roster.

- UPD: Andrew Ference (Chest) will not play.

The game is on at the same time as the season finale of The Walking Dead. I might have a hard time determining which one I'm watching at any given time.

Marincin Petry first line, think about that for a bit.
We need to score a lot of goals and the goalie to go all scrivengy.

Scriven·gy *(scriven′jē)
adj. scriven·gi·er, scriven·gi·est
1. Not Giving or spending reluctantly.
2. Scanty or meager: a scrivengy meal; scrivengy with details about the past.
[Perhaps alteration of scrivenginizing.]
Scriven′gi·ly adv.
Scriven′gi·ness n.

Actually cheering for a Ranger win here. Would be sweet to have a shot at either the #1C or #1 Dman in this draft. Both very necessary things for this team with Gagner failing horribly in his 2C role.

I never cheer for an Oiler loss. even after the last 6 years, I still can't do it.

however, I think the Oilers will lose the game. I just would prefer a win.
still put 100vcash on the Oilers, too.

That combo's been there for 2-3 games now. Much improved overall effect with Lander there vs other experiments this season.

Haven't they only done it once? I thought the other times they just rotated 7 dmen. I'd probably rather see Fraser at forward. We repeatedly discussed turning Peckham into a 4th liner, so it'd be nice to see how a similar guy would do

Yeah why not? Fraser brings some beef and toughness, see how he slots in there as he doesn't look like a D that I'd bring back next season.

I really don't see us beating the Rangers, but hey, would be fun.

Luongo is injured for most if not all the rest of the season. No way we are finishing below them the way Scivs is playing.

Go Oilers. We win 3-2.

Go Islanders and Flames.

Philadelphia is going into OT, pushing NYR to the last guaranteed spot in their division. Gotta think the Rangers will come out hard tonight.

I'm pretty sure they only did it against Nashville in the 5-1 win.

I'm heading to the game tonight, so I'll be cheering for a win or at least for Hallsy to put up some points.
