later gator

wow...
this woman killed by the gator has made national news.
this happened about 20 miles north of me.
as kids, we were always afraid of gators being in the brackish water.
time to be on the look-out again.
do you think they should have killed the animal though?

Yup. The gator knew what he was getting himself into. Nobody to blame but himself!

Nope, also being in Florida this question comes up alot. The Gator should not be killed for doing what it has done for millions of years.

Hmm...maybe there's a good reason that these animals are in people's back yards

FORT MYERS, Florida (AP) -- A professional landscaper died Friday after being mauled by a 12-foot alligator that dragged her into a pond and nearly tore off one of her arms.
Well, at least it didn't get her arm.

There can be no negotiating with alligators.

So we go from overblown coverage of someone getting killed by a shark to overblown coverage of someone getting killed by an alligator. Next up: overblown coverage of someone getting killed by a cougar.
