I miss the guy and his playoffs handlebars. The guy is what defines different philosophies in hockey. Some might prefer having a guy like him on our 4th line while others prefer gritty guys like White.

Liked him. That's the kind of guy you need in your bottom 6.

Oh Metro. Always a fan, except the season he played for the Bruins. I'd take him over a couple of our current Habs roster. Namely Bourque and Parros. Even at 39 years old.

The gold helmet is worn by the team's leading scorer in some of these European leagues I believe, not sure which leagues though or if it's only this one.

I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up as an assistant coach somewhere. That said I really liked Glen when he was here. He gave it everything he had.

Dem hands though! Always was impressed by his stickhandling abilities. The definition of learning the game in the street. Respect Glen!

He lit up the Swiss league.

Nice vid, I would definitely take him back with the Habs.

Cool video, Metro was always one of my favourite players, not only on Montreal, but in all of hockey.

Wouldn't think twice about taking him back. Would love to see him retire here.

He has all the qualities Habs fans love.

Smart with the puck, fearless and never quit on the play.

No Jr or College hockey?

Wouldn't surprise me if he stays in Switzerland. I mean he retires there and then spends the rest of his life there.

Really cool vid indeed...I still remember him as our best player on the PP five years ago. What a great season until that game in February against Boston.

If you guys watched the spangler cup Glen captained the team and although it was a pretty bad team he was a bright spot and made some really great plays and was one of the top scorers in the tournament at the age of 39. I believe he could still play in the NHL and really should have been with the canadiens the last couple of years. He's been dominant in the swill league and was very effective with the habs. But they low balled him and offered him a two way contract he had 29 points in 69 games mainly playing on the third and fourth line. Not bad at all.

Probably the most underrated Hab of the last 20 years. Was not happy when they didn't bring him back.

Overrated big time!

I mean, what has he done to deserve having a division named after him??
