I think I watched more of the ducks game than Sharks tonight. It was a good event, even if the game was less than appeasing. The NHL did a good job and I appreciate hockey played in California getting more attention, even if it was for one night. This also shows outdoor hockey can work in warm climates and I hope the Sharks get one next year.

That's what players do I guess in outdoor hockey games. I will say this game for some reason got me one step closer to baseball season. Maybe it was seeing Dodger Stadium (Which is my favorite of the classic stadiums by the way), or hearing Vin Scully (Living Announcer Legend) or, unfortunately, having to hear Brian Wilson be a hippy again. Now that Football is pretty much over other than one game, it's time to get ready for another long Baseball season.

They wear the eye black because of the lights. They basically shine down in their direction whereas the arenas they normally play in are from above them.

Am I the only one dreading that the Kings are gonna take out all of their scoring frustration on Niemi and the Sharks?

As if I did not like Brian Wilson enough minus what he did for SF... This man got the final out to win the Giants their first world series then runs to hated LA where he's won nothing and he's on national TV acting like his typical attention loving self proclaiming "Corey Perry is a complete bad ass" Massive double face palm right there

I'm happy for him. He'd never get the chance to play in an outdoor game here.

Hey guys, save some goals for Wednesday!

Does anyone know why both outdoor games count as road games for the Rangers? Is there some sort of rule that I don't know about?

They don't want to lose their tax break so they're playing as the road team

The Panthers haven't scored a power play goal in almost a month. They're 0 for their last 39.

The more I watch the Stadium Series the more I really like it. Could the games be better, sure. Still, it's fun watching Outdoor hockey games and people actually celebrating a regular season game like an event. Isn't that what people have been asking for all these years? I've always heard the Regular season is too long or games just don't matter. The NHL has made two normal games in two nights matter and I'm hooked. Looking forward to the Rangers/Islanders game on Wednesday Night.

Also, one of the great things about these games are the uniforms. I'm loving all the color from these uniforms, especially from the Kings and Devils. I wish the Devils would wear those unis all the time. I do wish the Ducks had gone back old school to the dark purple though. Still one of the most fun games I watched this year was the Ducks celebrating 20 years and becoming the Mighty Ducks again.

I still think we have a good chance at the division. Especially once we start getting people back but either way. Gotta root for the nucks at this point. If we get the 2 seed would be nice to play Canucks and watch kings ducks kick the crap out of eachother

Exactly. They get a tax break for playing all of their home games in MSG.

Kings get shutout. D-bag Brown with 14 minutes of ice time and -2. He continues his miserable season and I love it!
