Domi re-signs with the Toronto Maple Leafs

OMG News on the Leafs front!

Domi re-signed, no numbers released.

Howard Berger was on the Fan590 and was absolutely pissed off.

OMFG... EDIT... Kypreos on FAN590 saying its 2 years at 1.25m EACH year..

Hometown discount? Thanks Domi....

NO, NO, NO, Please God NO! I'm gonna cry if the Leafs did this stupid move. Its barely a decent move if he is signed at 500k. This better be complete garbage or JFJ has no clue what he is doing!

The fans of 29 NHL teams breath a huge sigh of relief!

It cracks me up that all the quality UFAs are going and the Leafs sign Domi!

Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Nice job Leafs.

And they somehow plan to fit Zetterberg in the lineup?

What I don't get.. is that he showed restraint with 2 other players (Joe/Gary), and doesn't with Domi. Wtf?

Is this confirmed?

Well, it doesn't matter because they already have Thornton:

Too much cash for sure but those who are laughing at tie as a player are stupid. He is very effective in his role, whether or not you agree with having this type of player in the league is another matter but you have to give the guy the credit he deserves for being a very good enforcer/agitator.

No, there is no breathing a sigh of relief. Keep this **** up and soon JFJ won't be able to breathe with about 23. 6 million hands around his throat!

I'm not trying to defend him. But it could also be that management is telling him how to spend the money. There are bigger powers behind closed doors, who knows?

Also, it could be the complete inexperience of a young GM whose plan backfired.

1.25 Domi
1.5 O'Niell

What is this world comming too?
