Sweet! That means I get to light you guys up for a hat trick in my first Pittsburgh-Carolina GDT and end up making Punk look like the fool he is and you guys get nothing out of it!

Hey, I'm a gritty veteran. Get your facts straight. I'm like the Aaron Ward of this board.

I really can't believe Bleed, geehaad, Hank, Joe McGrath, Sens1Canes2, sherrifbart and others all got snubbed. I guess it's a case of "shiny new toy" syndrome. Their experience, leadership and style of posting is perfect on a small board like this. This isn't the international boards where it's a big board. : I guess we aren't serious about winning.

To boot I bet when one of the new guys flames out, they'll keep giving him chance after chance each season to produce while old steady hands get pushed aside.

If you're Aaron Ward maybe that makes me somebody other than Chad...

TBK is like Tortorella. The team would need to win in the very near future. Otherwise, posters will tune him out after a few years.

In true TeamLeader fashion, DaveG posts half-assed placeholder GDT. It's unreal that the GM hasn't publicly called him out for his lackluster efforts this season.

2nd pairing? I'll take it.

But odds are, I'll have a statistically abnormal season and get lowballed by Jerome at the end of the season due to my refusal to go back to the Canes official site message board

Like I said. Victims of having too many top six posters. Our board wide depth has made tremendous strides in recent years.

I was assigning posters to the roles they're used to playing. The posters you listed are fantastic posters in their own right, but some posters had to be cut. It's just the way it is.

wait... I thought he had moved to a front office position and was now our chief NCAA scout, being in Colorado and all.

My Staal emulation skills are second to none. Don't worry, in similar fashion it will be solid enough to make people forget the first half of the season pre-game waiting time.

I really approve of the fact that we cloned Dear Leader Anton Babchuk to put him on both the first and the second pairing.

I am perfectly capable of playing a bottom 6 role. You can't leave skill at home for the sake of having one more grinder or defensive specialist.

This is an NHL team board not an international board. I can offer you a front office role as a Director of _____ Poster Development.

Also you're a reformed Whaler fan. I'm keeping it realistic with the Raleigh country club atmosphere.

I am a back up goalie?

I figure I would be more like a left wing on the 4th line.

As a fan of these boards, it is beyond obvious that leadership is lacking on this forum. Tarheelhockey claims to lead by example, but it is effort like this that leads me to believe we'd be better served by someone who shows up every day. Give AJJ the moderator tag.

As the most prominent poster regarding the Checkers I had you slotted as the AHL captain/1st center call up. But I don't make the decisions, I'm just the Director of some made up ******** title. The salary is good, but no one listens to me and I feel like I could still lace em up if they let me.

You guys should just admit that Carolinas Identity is set as our starting goaltender because he's tall. Not every tall goalie can be a Pekka Rinne/Ben Bishop.

Wait, isn't Vagrant even taller? Clearly if we put our Chara in net, they other team wouldn't score.
