I was hoping to sell my pitchfork futures, today.

I don't want Sbisa anywhere near the outdoor game. Don't even let him watch.

Looks like scratches tonight are Penner, Jackman and Sbisa. Fistric was skating with Allen so he'll stay in.
Hiller looks to be the starter.

Penner clearly isn't responding to being scratched anymore. I'm not sure what exactly the plan is for him but it would be nice to have some consistency on the top line. I'm hoping Palmieri is there tonight.

Agree re: Palms, he's looked good there in stints.

I don't know that I'd read anything into the scratches, considering some of the other players that regularly sit. It could be that he's still getting in trouble with Boudreau, but it could also mean that Bruce just sees him as a movable piece, too.

Penner may also not be at 100% with that elbow and they may be resting him for the end of the season rather than creating a lingering injury issue.

The team has been playing it up at home games.

I think the technical term for the streak is consecutive home games while being unbeaten in regulation to start a season, and the Ducks are tied for third best ever.

I believe so. Otherwise sami wouldn't be down in Norfolk yet.

Now that Sedin is missing the Nucks next game where does that put Cogs on the consecutive games played list?

NHL.com lines for tonight are way weird... if they start that way, I'm sure they won't stay that way.

Yeah I doubt they are right... Selanne on first line, Winnik off of the 3rd line, Perreault with the grindy line instead of Bones... Seems way too off.

Didn't Selanne start on the top line in Winnipeg? Maybe they're basing it off of that.
