What do scoring, killing penalties and playing defence have to do with it? We're talking about Kyle Clifford here.

We're also talking about Sam Gagner here. He has nothing to do with the 3 things you mentioned

Gagner can score, which is about infinity times more valuable than hits and fights.

Compared to Ben Eager... Or did you not bother to actually read the discussion?

Doesn't actually change anythuing. Clifford doesn't kill penalties. He's nothing special defensively. His career scoring rate do far is lower than Eager's. He fights more and hits more. Big deal.

Gagners 6 goals is not infinitely more than Cliffords 3 goals.
Gagner plays with top 6 players > Clifford plays with bottom 6 players
Gagner averages 18:08 a game > Clifford averages 10 minutes a game
Gagner averages 2:44 pp/g > Clifford averages :11s a game

So the only thing "infinite" between the two is Gagners opportunities.

depends on the team.. I would trade Gagner and Hemsky with all their scoring for guys like Matt Martin\Clutterbuck\Boychuk\Cowen

I would also value Gordon much higher than Gagner.

Opportunities he's had because he's a better hockey player. My goodness, it's not hard.

Spector is speculating Luke Schenn to Oil ..

Would we be happy with...
Clifford +1st for Gagner and then
LA 1st + EDM 1st for Schenn + Schenn ..

Draft is in PHI ..

Hall-Schenn-Eberle
Perron-Nuge-Yak
Clifford-Gordon-Hendricks
x-x-x

Marincin-Petry
Ference-Schenn
Fraser-J.Schultz
Klefa\Nurse

*barf*...

No way in hell are we giving up a 2nd overall pick and another 20ish overall pick with Brayden and Luke. Brayden we could work something out for, but he is not worth the 2nd overall and Luke is not worth a first by himself at anytime.

getting only picks for schenns wont help the flyers

problem also is that both schenns make the oilers better right away and the 2nd overall pick could be 5 to 6 quickly and the kings pick will be between 20 and 30--those do not get you the schenns unless the oilers do the deal on the draft floor
