Great play by Bergeron on Jake.

Stupid penalties against lead to a bad clear attempt by Couturier which leads to unfortunate/bad positioning by Coburn in front of the empty portion of the net which leads to Chara purposely shooting it off his skate into the net from the goal line.

Other then that it's been pretty nondescript.

If G's was a penalty the Bruins could have been called for about 7 in the last two shifts...

If only holding, interference and hooking were called as loosely as tripping and slashing are in the NHL.

Two very good shifts in a row; it's a start.

The thing is that they're actually doing well offensively, when they're in the zone they're getting chances and sustaining some pressure, but as soon as it's in the D zone they start having problems because the D is so bad at getting the puck out. Every time they've been stuck in the zone so far this game it's been Streit and Grossmann out there.

Bergeron's initial play there should have been a penalty by the standards they've established in this game. Of course it wasn't.

Sounds about right. Maybe even slightly better than expected. Which makes me sad.

This exactly... the forwards are fine, they play well down low vs almost any team, create chances and are hard to handle.

The D is definitely worse, but the majority of our forwards aren't great two-way players either. Our best defensive forward in Couturier has really regressed as of late and other then that Raffl and Read are good defensively...all three of which are on the same line.

Other then that line we got Adam Hall and Giroux is okay at it. Rest of the forward group is pretty poor defensively.

Yep. Honestly, I thought Streit was supposed to be a puck mover. Seems to me his only great asset is his shot

Marchand is the biggest piece of **** in the world. I honestly would get a slight bit of enjoyment out of seeing him get injured. There is honestly not a single other person in the league I would say that about.

One more thing annoys me about Berube. His lack of passion. Two non-penalties called on the Flyers and he chews his gum harder. What a pansy. He needs to go ballistic on the rerfs once in a while. The Flyers may take a lot of bad penalties but they also get screwed on a lot of borderline calls. Guys like Marchand play dirty all game and don't get called. Flip out once Berube

Hartnell and Schenn are fine defensively, not great, but not liabilities... but yeh, Vinny blows... Simmer tries but is rubbish, Voracek looks good at times then awful at others.

Hope Couts is ok... the last thing they need is more defence lost. And he contributes more to D than most of the D men on the team.

Definitely playing better the last ten minutes. Amazing what happens when you don't take dumb penalties.
