I never really got into Zeppelin, and I've been put off by The Beatles because everyone feels the need to say they're THE GREATEST BAND OF ALL TIME.

They're pretty great, though. Not the greatest ever.
There are a bunch of radio friendly average Zeppelin tracks, but then you have gems like When The Leeve Breaks, Gallows Pole, Caroselambra, Achilles Last Stand, Bron-Yr-Aur (instrumental and Stomp), No Quarter.

Ehh. The Wall is one of the first albums I remember listening to all the way through.

I'd rank them -

The Wall
Animals
Dark Side
WYWH

Every one of them is great. I've always thought that Animals didn't get enough appreciation, and sometimes still doesn't. Gilmour's guitar playing on that record is incredible.

Animals was my favorite for a long time. Travesty that Gilmour didn't get to sing on it more as his work in Dogs was great

I'd say that's what pissed me off most about The Wall. The whole transition into Roger Water's dictator ways bugged me

In my opinion, Division Bell could be their most underrated album. Also Gilmour's somewhat recent stuff is excellent. On An Island is a very good album and Live From Gadnsk is a great concert. I caught Gilmour live at Radio City several years back; unforgettable.

Didn't Atlanta close schools because it was like 20 degrees? With no snow.

The high that day was probably 20. The time when kids would be standing at the bus stop was in the single digits. It's going to be 35 today, so a little different. 8 degrees is dangerous cold when your body is used to 40s as a winter average.

I make fun of it, but although I haven't been out there yet, I'd be willing to bet that the roads here are worse than they are after a 6 inch snowstorm up in NY.

Buffalo's roads have more salt on them than all the rest of the cities combined. And it isn't working because it's too cold.

Weather.com says it's 17 degrees here at Stony Brook, but it also says it FEELS like it's 2 degrees.

Well, what the **** is it then? Stupid meteorologists and their newfangled wind chill wizardry and whatnot.

I'm at Stony too right now, can confirm it's ****ing cold. Doesn't help that this campus is a giant wind tunnel.

I never got that.

"Hey it's 20 degrees outside, but feels like it's -2 so put on some extra layers."

"Ok, so you're saying it's -2 out then?"

When air moves, it doesn't change temperature.
