No, no... they'd ask for Karlsson. Oilers have been overplaying their hand for years now, and is the reason they can't make a trade. Nobody is going to feel sorry for them and help them out, this is business.

I will laugh when the Oilers mess it up once again this offseason and at the draft. If they have the chance to draft Ekblad, you do it. Otherwise trade your pick for some help on the back end, or in net. It's not rocket appliances Edmonton.

Hmm,

41yo Alfredsson = 65.2 pt / 82 game pace
35yo J. Iginla = 48.5 pt / 82 game pace

Pace means nothing if Alfredsson is always hurt.

To think the islanders could be 3 points back from the sens if they win this game against the blues.

Just watched the STL intermission. Wow. No wonder some of their fans are so out of touch.

They have a segment called "Cheap Shot" and the play they chose to highlight for this instalment was a too many men call against the Blues that was a textbook call.

How was Mike Ribeiro a 2nd round pick? His junior numbers are crazy.

Like how Cherry called out Subban's dumb celebration.

I guess that makes him racist now.

Rather have Alfredsson for 65 games than Iginla for 82. Points aside, Alfredsson is a 200 ft player, Iginla has regressed and isn't the player he once was imo.

Habs with 3 shots on goal through half of the game. Down 0-3 now. At home. Against Caps

Reimer gets the yank. I kinda feel bad for him, I like the guy. But glad the Leafs are losing.

And Montreal. 4-0

the Jets and Leafs may as well play with empty nets. Goalies are non-existent.

I somewhat get the feeling that the leafs will come back.

Edit: 4-0 caps.

Shots are 26-3. What is going on? Are they stuck in their end the whole game or are they just trying to make too many passes and aren't getting their shots through?

It's ****ing pathetic really. As bad as we have been even we've never been outshot that bad. Hell the leafs were never out shot that bad in the games where they give up a million shots. There is no way Therrien will survive this. Carbo got canned after the habs finished in 1st in 08 and it looks like Therrien may suffer the same fate.

So basically Montreal has as many shots on goal as Washington has goals after 35 minutes of play.
